Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Y2 and three more Mi smartphones prices slashed

Xiaomi, the Chinese Smartphone Company has announced a permanent price drop for five of its smartphones. The new prices will be applicable from today (November 16) 12 pm onwards. The list of smartphone receiving the price cut consists of 4GB and 6GB variants of Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Y2, and the 4GB and 6GB variant of Xiaomi Mi A2. All these smartphones prices have been reduced by Rs 1,000. 

Announcing the new price, the company said “We have a philosophy of honest pricing where we never make more than 5% profit margin on any hardware product. If we make more profits, we give it back to our Mi Fans”.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB+64GB)
After a discount of Rs 1,000, the 4GB variant will now be available for Rs 13,999. It was originally priced at Rs 14,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (6GB+64GB)
The new price of this smartphone is Rs 15,999. The handset packs 6GB of RAM paired with 64GB expandable internal storage.

Xiaomi Mi A2 (4GB+64GB)
Xiaomi Mi A2 after the price drop can be bought at Rs 15,999. It is the company’s second Android One device that runs stock Android.

Xiaomi Mi A2 (6GB+128GB)
The smartphone with 128GB internal storage will now be sold at Rs 18,999. It was originally priced at Rs 19,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2
New retail price of the company’s selfie-centric Redmi Y2 is Rs 11,999. Like the other four smartphones, this phone too has got a price cut of Rs 1,000.
