Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro gets a price slash of Rs 2,000

   Redmi Note 5 Pro — Chinese technology company Xiaomi’s most popular smartphone in India, has got a price slash of 2000 Rs. As part of a promotional campaign for the fifth anniversary of the company in India, this price cut is the second ‘surprise’ from the company.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro new price and availability 

The price is slashed for both the variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The base variant offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This is available at a less price of  Rs 1,000 now sold at Rs 12,999 from the earlier revised price of Rs 13,999. Whereas, the second variant comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage can now be bought at Rs 13,999 after a price cut of Rs 2,000.

The new prices are applicable online on Amazon, Flipkart and  Xiaomi’s own mi.com. Also available on offline retail stores from today onwards. 

Specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro flaunts a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixel and 18:9 aspect ratio with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. Though, reports suggest that the device is already receiving OTA Oreo-based update.

It is available in two storage options -- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB internal storage. For imaging duties, the Redmi Note 5 Pro offers a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 12MP and 5MP sensors and a selfie camera of 20MP with LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
