Adilabad district continues to shiver

Hyderabad: Cold wave conditions prevailed at some places in Adilabad district for the second day on Tuesday, even as the night temperatures were markedly below normal by 5 degrees Celsius or less at a few places in Telangana.

The Met department bulletin said on Tuesday that the lowest minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad. It was one degree Celsius less than that recorded on Monday. The lowest minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, one degree Celsius less than that prevailed on Sunday.

The other night temperatures in the State were: Bhadrachalam and Medak 11 each, Khammam and Ramagundam 12 each, Hakimpet 13, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad and Nizamabad 15 each, Nalgonda 16 and Mahbubnagar 17.
