Minister inspects sites for proposed road under bridge in Tukaramgate

Tukaramgate: Minister T Padma Rao on Monday inspected the sites for the proposed road under bridge (RuB) in the Tukaramgate area at a cost of Rs.29.5 crore. He reviewed with officials the alternate arrangements to be made once the work is launched and also the road-widening works. 

Rao stated that permission by the railways for RUB has been secured and the State share of funds for the purpose has been sanctioned. The tender schedule by the Railways for RUB was in the final stages.

It would end the problems faced by local residents for the last 50 years. The minister stated that the work would be launched as early as possible.
