90 per cent of defectors will not get TRS ticket: Revanth
Hyderabad : Congress leader and Kodangal MLA A. Revanth Reddy said that almost 90% of leaders who defected to ruling party from other political parties would not get TRS ticket.
In an informal chat with media persons on Thursday, Revanth Reddy claimed that MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy, who defected from TDP, would not get TRS ticket in next elections. Similarly, he said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was asking Ministers Etala Rajender, Harish Rao and Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari to contest the Lok Sabha elections instead of Assembly. He said KCR was doing so to reduce their influence in State politics and minimise threat for the leadership of his son and minister K. Tarakarama Rao.
Revanth Reddy said that the Congress party would wholeheartedly welcome the entry of former minister and BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy into the Congress party.
