Vaktha participants acquire oratory skills
Hyderabad: Participants of 61st batch of Vaktha have acquired the oratory skills during the two-day training session. Vaktha was jointly organised by Hmtv and Kaushalya School of Life Skills in Jubilee Hills on February 10 and 11.
Most of the participants explained the benefits of attending the training on “oratory skills.” The aspiring politicians and social workers gained high-level of self-confidence. They vowed to make an impact on the society with their enhanced communication skills.
The Director (Training), Kapil Group, and the lead faculty of the programme D Bal Reddy, who gave tips on public speaking, asked the participants to note down and practise them regularly, if they were seriously aiming to transform themselves into good orators. Public speaking, he explained, was a kind of skill, which everyone could learn through regular practice.
S Anand Parjanya, faculty on body language, trained the participants on maintaining their posture, while delivering a speech and communicating at a public place. He explained how an orator should communicate the subject with the coordinating actions of hands.
K Srikanth, another faculty, explained important techniques of “voice modulation,” since a good speaker always maintained a high tone while delivering the speech. He made students practise some of the important tips and showed how voice culture and modulation can make a person an effective public speaker.
While providing their feedback, D Suresh, a social worker from Warangal, termed the training programme as 'best practical approach' on the subject ever developed. He said the training not only provided tips for gaining skills. B Mahipal Reddy from Mahbubnagar felt like “fearless tiger,” ready to face the audiences, after attending the programme.
K T Naidu from East Godavari felt more confident on completion of the two-day training session. R Pradeep Reddy and K Yadagiri affirmed that they would advise their friends to attend the training session which would benefit them in improving their communication skills, particularly as an orator.
