Hyderabad : Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Saturday proposed that all examinations should be held only in government institutions under the supervision of government staff.

The Deputy CM's suggestion came at a time when private education institutions are threatening to boycott exams demanding clearance of fee reimbursement dues. Kadiam held a review meeting at the State Secretary and reviewed the preparations for conduct of SSC, intermediate and degree exams.

Kadiam said that the correction of exam papers should also be done by the government staff by taking some assistance from the minority institutions. He directed the officials to ensure that all exams are conducted as per scheduled and without any glitches. He said all government high schools, ZPHS, KGBV, Model Schools and Residential schools have good infrastructure and they are perfect fit to be used as examination centres. He asked the officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for the same.

The review meeting was also attended by Special Chief Secretary (Education) Ranjeev R. Acharya, Higher Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal, Board of Intermediate Education Secretary Dr. A. Ashok, School Education Director Kishan and other officials.
