V C Sajjanar takes charge as Cyberabad Commissioner
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Commissioner V C Sajjanar, who assumed charge of office on Wednesday, said that women and child safety would be their top priority. He announced other key areas which he would be looking into as high priority.
Speaking to media, the Commissioner said, “community and citizen friendly policing, special focus on cybercrimes and human trafficking, awareness and prevention of economic and white collar offences, capacity building to prevent criminal cases and law and order issues, IT and other industries security, road safety and traffic issues, and speedy disposal of court cases will be given priority to ensure safety and security of the public.” He also sought public cooperation in achieving his targets.
The new Commissioner and personnel felicitated the outgoing Commissioner Sandeep Sandilya, who is posted as Additional Director General of Police, Railways and Road Safety. The 1996 batch IPS officer, Sajjanar started his carrier as Additional Superintendent of Police, Jangoan. Earlier, he served as Inspector General of Police of Intelligence department.
