PJTSAU signs MoU with Canadian Zeolite Corporation for research on crop yields

Hyderabad : The Ichaana Indo-Can Zeolite Corp(IIZC), a subsidiary of International Zeolite Corporation Canada, and the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to undertake research studies by testing of natural Zeolite for development of various applications establishing crop yield patterns, optimization of utility of fertilizers, moisture conservation etc.,
 
IIZC Managing Director Bala Pratap Reddy visited the PJTSAU on Friday evening and interacted with the Vice chancellor Dr. V Praveen Rao. Later, they signed an agreement for the research which also facilitate IIZC to conduct research trials on  evaporation index in different soils in addition to agronomic, economic, social and environmental benefits of improved nutrient management practices in paddy, cotton, chillies, maize crops. 
 
The visit of Canadian Representatives and Memorandum of Agreement was coordinated by the Director International Programs Dr. Kalvakuntla Jeevan Rao, Several University officers of PJTSAU and representatives from Indo-Can Zeolite Corp Dr. MN Reddy and others were present.
