1 tahsildar, 6 VROs suspended

Sircilla: District Collector Krishna Bhaskar on Tuesday suspended one tahsildar and six village revenue officers (VROs) for dereliction of duties.  Veernapally tahsildar T Vijayalalitha has been suspended on charges of not achieving the target of land records updation programme (LRUP), and not following the orders of higher authority. 

VROs B Shankar, B Sadavali, Jahangir (Gambhiraopet tahsil), G Narsaiah, Banda Srinivas (Mustabad tahsil) and D Srinivas (Vemulawada Rural Tahsil) were also placed under suspension for not following the orders of higher authority and performing below par in achieving targets in LRUP.
