Meet locals, discuss their problems
Kothagudem: It is a good opportunity both for the district officials to meet the common people and to know their problems in their villages, stated District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu.
He participated in the Grievance Day held at the Collectorate here on Monday and received several applications. Later he told the officials to study the petitions clearly and clear the issues with special interest. They were also told to enter online the progress of the applications received during Grievance Day.
The Collector discussed the progress of the welfare schemes in the district, pending cheques of Rythu Bandhu Scheme and survey details of Rythu Bima in the district. The officials and staff were told to conduct awareness programmes at village level and to give wide publicity about government schemes.
Joint Collector M Ram Kishan, district revenu officer Kiran Kumar, DRDA Project Officer P Jagath Kumar Reddy, RDO Ravindranath and other officers attended the programme.
