Cluster Resource Persons’ contract extended
Mahabubabad: The Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) must play a key role in strengthening of education system, said District Joint Collector Damodar Reddy here on Tuesday while extending the contract of the CRPs working in nine mandals of Mahabubabad district for a period of one year.
The Joint Collector reviewed the work process of CRPs in a meeting held under the aegis of District Education Department here at the Collectorate Conference hall in Mahabubabad on Tuesday.
Addressing the meeting, Damodar Reddy said around 85 members (three to five from each mandal) were discharging their duties as CRPs on contract basis in about 60 clusters present in the district.
The JC directed the CRPs to strengthen the education system in the district apart from conveying complete details about the implementation of mid-day meals, and distribution of uniforms and text books to the students.
The JC extended the contract of CRPs working in Bayyaram, Dhantalapalli, Dornakal, Gangaram, Garla, Gudur, Kasamudram and Kothagudem mandals for one year after inspecting the progress of their work. District Education Officer Sathya Priya and District Rural Officer Rambabu were present along with others.
