Venkateshwarlu takes charge as Suryapet SP

Suryapet: Ravirala Venkateshwarlu on Friday assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Khammam district.  He took charge from the outgoing SP Prakash Jadav. 

Speaking on the occasion, the new SP said, “without showing discrimination even a riksha- puller will get justice on par with Audi car owner whenever victims approaches police station on any issue”.

He said that he and his staff will work with such a commitment that anti-social elements and criminals would have sleepless nights, whereas common people a peaceful sleep under police surveillance. 

He said that he believes in team work and services of all categories of police will be effectively utilized to curb the crime rate. He further informed that, special attention would be paid on illegal activities in order to make Suryapet a crime-free district.

Later, he received guard of honour from the police.  DSPs Nageshwar Rao, Sudarshan Reddy, RIs Srinivas Rao, Narsimha rao and others welcomed the new SP.
