Sangham collects Rs. 22 lakh for Kerala flood victims

Bhadrachalam:  As many as Rs 22 lakh was collected by the Kerala Varadha Badhita Sangham here in the temple town Bhadrachalam. The Sangham handed over a cheque cheque for Rs. 22 lakh to the MLA Sunnam Rajaiah for the help of the Kerala flood victims. When the unprecedented floods ravaged Kerala, the people of the temple town formed a sangham to extend helping hand to the people of state. The sangham members earnestly worked hard to collect donations from people.  

The business personalities and voluntary organisations donated generously whenever the Sangham representatives approached them.   A massive begging programme was also conducted by the Sangham  and the activists collected donation in cash and kind from the participants.  In this small temple town the collected amount of 22 lakh is a big achievement,  said MLA Sunnam Rajaiah who appreciated   the representatives of the Kerala Varadha Badhita Sangham. He had all praise for the sangham associates Pakala Durga Prasad and Kona Anad Kumar.  He said the sangham did a good job for the Kerala flood victims. 

TANA elected chairmen Talluri Jaya Shaker,  Talluri Trust chairman Talluri Panchakshraiah,CI Satyanarayana Reddy, Retired Regional Joint Director Dr.SL. Kantha Rao, Tahsildar Ramakrishna, Motar Vechicle Inspector Venkat Pullaiah, Prabha Shanker Hospitals Managing Director Gedala Siva Shanker Rao, Rajani Top M.D Tallapudi Ramu, P.Desappa, Chamber of Commerce Secretary K.Suresh, Kuppala Nagaraju, CH. Laxminarayana, B.Swetha,  G.Madav Reddy and others participated the programme.
