80 people get Kalyana Laxmi cheques

Mahbubnagar: As many as 80 beneficiaries in Chinna Chintakunta mandal were distributed Kalayana Laxmi and Shadi Mubarak cheques on Thursday by the hands of Devarkadra MLA Ale Venkateshwar Reddy. 

While talking on the occasion, the MLA said that it is only under the TRS government that the Telangana people have seen true development. “The kind of development we are seeing today in Mahabubnagar district was never been witnessed during the 70 years since independence,” he said.

“The State government is spending more than Rs. 40,000 crore on the welfare programmes and launched many innovative and true welfare schemes for the poor.

KCR kits, Kalayana Laxmi, Pensions, Mission bhageeratha, Mission kakatiya and construciton of short term and long term projects, all have been designed to meet both the short term and long term requirement for the overall development of the people of Telangana,” said the MLA. 

Later the MLA laid foundation stone for the construction of a  Check Dam with Rs. 61 lakhs at Ukachettu lake and took part in the land breaking ceremony.
