Haj pilgrims to return from Sep 12

Nampally: The Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point will start arriving back to Hyderabad from today. 

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will receive the first batch of the Haj pilgrims at the Haj Terminal of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad, Hyderabad at 7:55 pm on Wednesday.

Three flights will land at Rajiv Gandhi International airport at 7:55, 8:45 and 11:55 pm

Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman and Prof S A Shukoor, Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee, Members and higher officials will be present on this occasion. 

The Deputy Chief Minister will also inaugurate distribution of the Zam Zam water cans among the pilgrims on this occasion. 

Telangana State Haj Committee has made all necessary arrangements with the cooperation of various departments. 

The GMR authorities in coordination with other departments and agencies have made all the necessary arrangements for the return of the Haj pilgrims. 

In view of the prevailing rainy season special waterproof shed with a capacity of 1000 persons is erected outside the Terminal for the visitors and necessary amenities are provided to them. 

A total of 7347 pilgrims had left from Hyderabad Embarkation point for the Haj, they include 4453 from Telangana, 1711 from Andhra Pradesh and 1183 from Karnataka. All the pilgrims will return back by September 25.
