Illicit relationship leads to gruesome murder of youth
Mahbubnagar: In a gruesome incident, one person was murdered in Polkampally village of Moosapet mandal of Mahbubnagar district as he was suspected to have been involved in an illicit relationship with a married woman of the same village.
According to Moosapet police, Boya Nagaraju (25) was killed by miscreants of the same village as they suspected Boya Nagaraju was having an illicit relationship with a married woman of the same village.
It is said that the married woman who was also having illicit relationship with another person, lead to clash between the two persons and this further lead to building grudge between Boya Nagaraju and a few others, who later hatched a plan to eliminate Boya Nagaraju and killed him by slitting off the body parts and buried them at a secluded place in a rivulet on the outskirts of the village.
The incident which had happened 10 days ago came to light very late, when the family members of Boya Nagaraju had filed a missing complaint in the Moosapet police station. However, when the police could not take any action, the family members approached Mahbubnagar Superintended of Police (SP) Rema Rajeshwari, who later directed the Moosapet police to conduct a thorough inquiry and submit a report.
Based on the order, the police inquired each and every person in the village and later they could zero in on the suspects. “During our investigation, we questioned the second person who was having an affair with the said married woman. Based on our thorough interrogation he revealed the beans of murder.
It is said that along with this person, there are three others who were involved in the murder case. They have all confessed their crime of slitting the body parts of Boya Nagaraju into pieces and buried them at different places in a secluded place in the nearby rivulet,” informed the Moosapet police.
As soon as the news of murder was spread in the village, the angry villagers came out in large numbers and started attacking the houses of the culprits. However, the police dispersed the villagers and took all the four suspects into their custody. And to avoid any untoward incidents in the village, the police have set up a police picket and imposed section 144 in the village.
On Tuesday, the police took all the suspects and the culprits along with them to the spot where they had buried the body parts and tried to retrieve them with the help of dog squad. However, on the second day also the villagers protested and demanded the police to handover all the culprits to the villagers. However, the police tried to pacify the agitating villagers and later sent the body parts of the deceased victim for post mortem.
