ASI among three dead during Ganesh immersion in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Three persons, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, died during Ganesh immersion procession on Sunday while several others suffered injuries.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Nirma Naik (55) died while he was on Ganesh immersion security duty at Habeeb Nagar died of a heart attack. 

The ASI was attached to Komaravelli police station in Siddipet district. 
He was deployed in the city as part of security duty. He complained chest pain and fell unconscious. Immediately he was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

In an another incident, a 26-year-old Satish, a private employee and a resident of Borabanda, died in SR Nagar police limits.

He was suspected to have consumed alcohol. He fell down while participating in Ganesh procession. His friends took him to his home. 

As he fell unconcious, he was taken a hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. 

In Vanasthalipuram, a person, identified as Ravikumar, was electorcuted while trying to install mike set. Police registered a case. 

In yet another incident at Abids, an auto trolley turned turtle and four persons were injured.
