Chinna Reddy protests over lack of sanitation

Wanaparthy: Chinna Reddy, Congress sitting MLA from Wanaparthy staged a protest with party workers raising slogans against the TRS government for its failure to check the degrading sanitation in the district headquarters. 

“Hundreds of children from Wanaparthy are suffering from dengue fever and have been admitted in Nice Hospital in Hyderabad. The main reason for spreading of the dreaded disease like dengue and malaria is failure of the municipal authorities in curbing the mosquito menace.  The drains and garbage dumps in the district headquarters are overflowing creating havoc with stinking smell,” he said. 

“The Health minister who is from Mahbubnagar district has also failed to direct the health department staff to take early preventive steps. This shows the apathy of present TRS government and its rulers in up keeping the health of the public,” averred Chinna Reddy. 

The Congress workers later raised slogans against the government and municipal administration and demanded the government to immediately take corrective measures or else they threatened to intensify their agitation.
