Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary G Chinna Reddy on Wednesday criticised former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao and said the former Prime Minister was a person who bit the hand that fed him.

Addressing the media, the AICC secretary said P V Narasimha Rao was made Prime Minister when he retired from the politics and he had suppressed all the seniors of the party.

He said by allowing for the demolition of the Babri Mosque the former Prime Minister made a big blunder.

Due to the demolition of the Babri Mosque the Muslims have deserted the Congress. The Gandhi family has kept him away because of this. The BJP leaders have been praising PV for allowing the demolition of the Babri Mosque.

He said even former President Pranab Mukherjee has behaved like PV Narasimha Rao. The Congress made him President of the country. But he praised the RSS and got Bharat Ratna award.

The BJP did not praise former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh because he did not help the saffron party in any way. Chinna Reddy said the Centre revealed that the debt burden of the State was Rs 1.10 lakh crore. But no one knows where the money has been spent.

The construction cost of Kaleshwaram project would be Rs 75,000 per acre.

The government spent Rs 50,000 crore on the project and it should release a white paper on the expenditure.
