New DCP conducts his first cordon & search operations in south zone

Bahadurpura: After takin charge as DCP south zone on September 24 Amber Kishore Jha conducted his first cordon and search operation early morning on Friday. Kishore along with Addl DCP south zone Syed Rafeeq, ACP Charminar B Anjaiah and other officials with 350 policemen participated in cordon and search operation at Hasan Nagar Division of Bahadurpura police station limits.

In all a total of 82 bikes, 3 autos and a car were seized for verification of documents, 8 rowdy sheeters were taken into custody and checked their present activities and 3 suspects were taken into custody who were found to have contacts with criminals after verification through C-DAT application. After the cordon and search operation, addressing the media DCP South said, the main reason of conducting cordon search operations is to ensure safety and security of the citizens and to identify the crime destinations and see that there should not be criminal activities in the locality and police will go forward with this and public can approach police in case of any complaints.
