More staff for Central Library requested
Khammam: The State Library Parishad chairman Ayachittam Sridhar on Sunday paid a sudden visit to the District Central Library here on Sunday. Azeez-ul-Haq Qamar, the chairman of the District Library Parishad, gave him a warm welcome. During a meeting Azeez-ul-Haq told Sridhar that two posts of the Record Assistant and Attendant are vacant in the Central Library and requested him to sanction the posts for better functioning of the library and also issue orders for the construction of a new building of the library.
The district leader of the Employees Union, M V S Rajeshwar Rao requested Sridhar to issue orders for sanctioning of the health cards to all the employees working in libraries and to purchase books for various libraries.
Responding positively, the chairman of State Library Parishad, A Sridhar assured them that as soon as the committee will send the resolution permissions will be granted for construction of new building for central library and for purchasing of books. The staff members of District Central Library V Akhil, Bhaskar Rao, R Naganna and Vijaya Kumari were present along with others.
