Written test for constable posts peaceful

 Warangal: Warangal Commissioner of Police V Ravinder said that the written test held for the filling of stipendiary constable posts by the State Police Recruitment Board on Sunday was peaceful. Over 55,435 persons applied for the preliminary written test.

Of them 52,960 candidates attended the test. Some 30,505 candidates took the test in over 51 examination centres across the Warangal tri-city limits, while 9,256 attended the test in 19 examination centres in Jangaon, while 12,929 appeared for the test in Narsampet.

The police have made arrangements and posted help desks at all the railway stations and bus stands to guide the candidates, who came from long distances to attend the written test. Not only that, the police also made transport arrangements like auto-rickshaws to reach the examination centres. The candidates and their parents expressed satisfaction over the arrangements to transport them on time to the exam centres.

Commissioner Ravinder, accompanied by police nodal officer Billa Ashok Kumar, Warangal regional coordinator Prof Achaiah visited various exam centres and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
