SBI Bank with Seva Bharat conducts Swachh activities
Hyderabad: SBI Bank, in coordination with Seva Bharat, conducted Swachh Bharat Abhiyan across the twin cities as part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.
Sanitation activities were conducted as part of the programme at 64 government hospitals, railway stations and bus stations.
Around 2,000 volunteers participated in the programme at Gandhi Hospital.
SBI General Managers UNN Mayya and Ramesh, RSS state chief Devendra, Olympic medalist Lavanya Reddy launched the programme at various locations.
Speaking on the occasion, UNN Mayya said that sanitation activities were being conducted at every branch of the bank as part of the programme.
Around 300 SBI staff and 400 bank staff participated in the programme at Gandhi Hospital and ENT Kothi hospital respectively.
