Belt shops warned of stringent action

Vikarabad: Excise Sub-Inspector TTS Kumar said that stringent action would be taken against the operators of belt shops in villages. He conducted searches in Barwad and other villages of Kotpalli mandal on Tuesday. “Based on the information about illegal transport of liquor from neighbouring states, we conducted the searches,” he said. Kumar accompanied by other excise staff inspected the seals and stock registers as part of checking.
