Swami Paripurnanda univeils statue of Patel

Maheshwaram: Swami Paripurnanda, Hindu holyman who recently joined BJP, unveiled the statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel at Kongara Raviryala village of Maheshwaram mandal on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he praised the key role played by the then home minister of India Sardar Vallabhai Patel in the liberation of Telangana. 

Explaining the leadership qualities of Sardar, he narrated how Sardar led the farmers against British rulers for imposing heavy taxes at Bardolia village in Gujarat. Swamiji praised PM Narendra Modi for construction of statue of unity in honour of Vallabhai Patel. Swamiji said that Patel was always fearless in fight against injustice. He said that the same qualities can now be found in PM Modi. Swamiji said that he will guide youth on developing the village Dabilguda which he has adopted.
