Siddipet: Caretaker minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday said that candidates from other parties were backtracking from contesting against Harish Rao. He is the reliable leader, who persistently pursued every project in the State and ensured that it got completed in time, he said. The Yadav community got independence only after KCR became chief minister.

KCR gave away almost 70 lakh sheep for the uplift of Yadavas, he added, while criticising the political alliance of the opposition parties. Dubbing the alliance as confluence of robbers, he likened them to the tale of Alibaba and 40 thieves. He said no one can become chief minister by growing beard. Srinivas Yadav said the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, introduced by KCR was a never before and first of its kind welfare scheme in the country. “TRS will win 101 seats in forthcoming elections. Harish Rao’s win is already decided, but people of Siddipet should give him a huge majority,” Srinivas Yadav said.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that he had won five times with the blessings of KCR. “We have been developing Siddipet as per the directions of KCR. With his persistence, Kaleswaram project is nearing completion. We will provide water for lakhs of acres of land by the next rainy season. Let us gift KCR with a huge majority,” he said.

Criticising the opposition, Harish said congress leaders are heading to Delhi while TDP leaders from Telangana are leaving for Amaravati, but TRS leaders are reaching people. He said Chandrababu Naidu is coming to Telangana in disguise of Congress. He promised people to serve for five more years if he is voted again.
