TRS ignored kin of Telangana martyrs: Satish

Secunderabad: BJP candidate Bandapally Satish conducted padayatra at Chilkalguda Colony, as part of his election campaign on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Satish said that they are preparing a people’s manifesto and are trying to elicit suggestions from people on various issues. During the campaign, he examined several sewerage lines that were emitting foul smell. Locals brought to Satish’s notice the problems they face in rainy season due to overflowing sewage canals. He promised them to sort out the issues by rehabilitating people who have constructed houses on canals.

Satish alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has run family rule in the state. He criticised the TRS rule for ignoring the welfare of martyrs’ families, journalists and youth. The promises made to them regarding construction of houses and 100-crore fund were left unfulfilled, he said. Government took no measures to fulfill the promises it made during previous elections, such as Rythu Bazaar in Sitaphalmandi, converting municipal ground into vegetable market and establishing junior and degree colleges, he said.
