Dr Ambedkar death anniversary observed
Khairatabad: On the occasion of the 62nd death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, former minister Danam Nagender visited the statue of Dr Ambedkar at GVK circle, garlanded the statue and paid tributes on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Nagender lauded the efforts of Dr Ambedkar to uplift socially backward people in the society. He observed that Dr Ambedkar’s contributions to the nation would be remembered forever. He would remain the hearts of poor and middle-class people, he said.
Bandhu Society and Arundhati Youth Welfare Society members also paid tribute to Dr Ambedkar at his statue at Devarkonda Basti in Banjara Hills. The members hailed his contributions to the welfare of backward and downtrodden sections of the society. Society members D Ramesh, Raghunath, Chinna Tarun, Rajesh Yadav, Rakesh and others participated in the event.
