MP Patil seeks more trains to stop at Kamareddy

Hyderabad: Zaheerabad MP B B Patil on Tuesday met Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and impressed upon him the need for taking action on the representation he had submitted in the past to solve problems pertaining to the ministry. The MP told The Hans India that he had taken up with the minister the need for stopping one incoming Rameswaram train (No 115733) and outgoing train (No 216734) at Kamareddy station. He recalled pleading for stopping the Machilipatnam-Bidar-Machilipatnam trains at Kamareddy and also the Kamareddy-Rayalaseema train at Bollarum. Patil wanted the weekly Nizamabad-Mumbai train to be extended to Kamareddy and to run regularly and also the trains Nizamabad-Pune train and Nizamabad-Pandaripur train.

The other points raised by Patil included construction of a foot-over bridge on the track across Priya Talkies Deluxe Road in Kamareddy as also on Zaheerabad platform, building of railway track point in Zaheerabad railway station, setting up a station linking Kohir-Pothireddypalli at gate no 23, building quarters for the staff, speeding up of Bodhan-Bidar railway line, increasing passenger services from Parlivaidyanath, Vikarabad, Marpalli, Zaheerabad to Secunderabad.

The MP wanted the minister to respond positively to his representation seeking completion of pending works in Zaheerabad Parliament constituency. He said he would discuss with Central ministers the need for allotting funds to develop Koulas Fort in Jukkal constituency and to Sangameswaraswamy temple in Jarasangam. Patil informed Goyal that Zaheerabad would become another Hyderabad thanks to the efforts being made by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and minister T Harish Rao.
