Bethi conducts voter enrolment drive

 Uppal: MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy submitted as many as 1,000 voter enrolment forms to the authorities concerned at Municipal Office here on Monday. He appreciated the Chilukanagar division coordination committee leaders for organising voter enrolment programme in the division and for motivating the public to enrol as voters.

 He said that with the call given by TRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR), the division leaders collected as many as 1,000 forms. He expressed happiness on their commitment towards voter enrolment drive initiated by the Election Commission. Bethi appealed to the people who completed 18 years to register themselves as voters. The coordination committee leaders explained their drive as an effort to motivate people towards the democratic process. 

They said that at the beginning they got a lukewarm response, but later the response became overwhelming. They thanked the division people for making it a grand success. TRS leaders Ram Reddy, Usharani, Subhadra, Andaalu and Saritha were present on the occasion.
