Update: 2019-02-01 05:30 IST

Art is divine for an artist, as it is an expression of his thoughts in a beautiful and creative way. Artist Kesav is showcasing his solo exhibition ‘Positive Vibrations of Mind’ at Nehru Art Gallery, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University (JNAFAU). These are abstract paintings, he says, “This exhibition is my expression on different stages of life. In this series of ARTZ with 'stART', I like to express birth, family, human relationships, bonding and behaviour in an abstract form through wide range.”

Kesav studied Bachelor of Fine Arts from JNAFAU and did Master of Fine Arts (Digital and Visual Communications) from UK, worked as a visual artist in India, USA and UK, he participated in many group art shows in USA, UK, and India before, but this is his first solo art show.“I am in love with ideas, seeding them, cultivating them and watching them appear to fruition. Nothing makes me happier. I have been drawing, sketching and painting since I was wheeled and even went to Fine Arts School to make it official! At JNTUCFA- Hyderabad and trained in a wide variety of illustration styles, media and techniques,” he shares.

Being a visual artist he likes being realistic but abstract and modern is the universal trend, he says. “Modern contemporary art extends its new dimensions to the society beyond the traditional framework to focus on wide range of creativity. The twenty-first century has been a period of many experiments, lot of innovations in the material, medium and technique has given immense scope for artist to experiment with his form of expression. The contributions of our modern contemporary artists to this transition is immense. And it’s good to do more experiments,” he concludes.
