Yadadri Brahmotsavams from March 8

Yadadri-Bhongir: Collector Anita Ramachandran has directed the officials concerned to work collectively to make Maha Shivaratri and Yadadri temple Brahmotsavams a grand success. Along with DCP Ramachandra Reddy, the Collector held a meeting with the officials concerned at the Collectorate on Friday. 

She instructed the officials to take care of sanitation, water and other facilities as Maha Shivaratri celebrations would start on March 4 and the Yadadri temple Brahmotsavams from March 8. She directed the police officials to make security arrangements at all 12 main Shaivite temples in the district on the Maha Shivaratri day.

The Collector ordered the Yadadri temple officials to make all necessary  arrangements, including drinking water facility, sunshades, toilets, queue lines, uninterrupted power supply and take precautionary measures to avoid any untoward incidents during Brahmotsavam celebrations on the hillock as a large number of devotees are expected to turn up on the special days.

“Take the help of district Medical and Health department and arrange health camps at all temples in the interest of devotees in view of summer,” she suggested. She also requested the RTC officials to run special buses for the convenience of devotees.

Stating that bursting of fireworks near temples was banned and rumours should bring to the notice of police officials, she warned of conducting any obscene stage dances and provocative meetings in Yadagirigutta during Brahmotsavams. 

District Revenue Officer Venkat Reddy, DRDO Upender Reddy, RDO Bhupal Reddy, Endowment Inspector Sumathi, Yadagirigutta Tahsildar Ganesh, officials of Yadadri temple and police officials attended the meeting.
