National Tech Fest concludes at VIT on a grand note

Amaravati: The V-TAPP 2018 National Tech Fest in the Vellore Institute of Technology, AP (VIT) concluded on a grand scale on Monday, with State Street India MD Ramesh Kaju, Cognizant VP Rajeev Menon and Shindair Senior VP Ardindam Sen as the guests. Students from 40 colleges participated in the fest. 

Experts in data analytics, robotics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, IOT technology conducted seminars for the benefit of the participants. Prizes were awarded to the winners in paper presentation and competitions on technology. Among those present were VIT AP Vice-president Dr Shekar Vishwanadhan, ED Dr Sandhya Penta Reddy, VC Dr Subhakar and Registrar Dr C L V Sivakumar.

Addressing the gathering, Ramesh Kaju described the fest as the biggest such event held so far. He said that in their very first year VIT students were able to know new aspects. ‘It is important for everyone to know how technology is being use these days. Everyone should strive to become team player and not team member to make Makin India possible. 

Arindam Sen stated that as many changes were taking place in technology everyone needs to be up-to-date so as to be able to survive in competition. Rajiv Menon observed that new inventions can be found by using technology properly and for this VIT should become the venue. He said many future jobs would be in the fields of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
