SIST celebrates 20th annual day

Hyderabad: Justice Suresh Kumar Kait of High Court, Hyderabad, has advised the students of the college to be focused on studies which will ensure success in their professional careers. 

While addressing as chief guest at 20th annual day celebrations of Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, here on Friday, he recalled the trials and tribulations he had gone through in his school education days when there were meager facilities in the schools.

 There were situations when the students were sitting under the trees lack of required class rooms. It is a privilege for the students of SNIST to have all the facilities made available by the management and hence he was very confident that the students of the college will come out most successful and will be able to contribute for industrial development in India. 

The autonomy which is accorded by UGC is of great help to students as the college is able to modify / upgrade the curriculum based on the skills in demand in the industry and the technological developments taking place at a fast pace in the industry.  

He praised the efforts of management.  The college has had many a feathers in their cap, recently- 'Achievement Award for Research & Teaching in Computer Science & Engineering' bestowed upon professor Dr N Iyengar in 2017 by IOSRD. 

On this occasion, 18 alumni of the college were given distinguished Awards, who are presently engaged in responsible positions in India and abroad.   Gold Medals and academic prizes were given to the toppers.
