Video Calling Application Zoom Comes Up With Its New Update For Better Performance
The restrictions on the Zoom application has given ways to Google Meet and other video calling apps. Most of the Governments have suggested their people to stop using Zoom stating that it is weak in terms of privacy and security issues.
But fighting with all the odds along with a strong will to bounce back, Zoom has rolled out a new update for its application. The company also stated that without updating the app, the users will not be able to go with their video calls from 30th May, 2020.
Zoom has rolled out its 5.0 update and stated that this web client has come up with high-end GCM (Galois/Counter Mode) encryption and other security enhancements which are mandatory to conduct video meetings on the application.
The enhanced encryption will also make the users witness a green 'Security' icon when the GCM is implemented for the video calls.
The company also announced that, the presence of this Green icon will make the hosts to lock and unlock meetings, enable-disable waiting rooms, enable-disable participant renaming, enable-disable in-meeting chat, enable-disable screen sharing along with removal& reporting of participants. Even the host can assign his/her position to another active participant on the video call when he wants to quit the meetingusingspecial access.
