Kachiguda train accident: MMTS loco pilot Chandrashekar's health condition critical
Hyderabad: The health condition of MMTS train loco pilot Chandrasekhar, who was seriously injured in the train accident at Kachiguda railway station is said to be critical. In the collision, he got trapped between the two trains.
After the eight hours of the rescue operation, Sekhar was brought out and rushed to the Care hospital for treatment, where he has undergone the medical exams and found that his two legs were broken along with internal bleedings in the body. Care hospital doctors have begun the surgery.
In the train accident at Kachiguda station, nearly 14 people sustained injuries, and no casualties were reported in the incident. The victims were shifted to Osmania government hospital.
On receiving the information, the railway officials reached the spot and immediately launched the rescue operations. Later, the officials have cancelled the trains operating between Falaknuma and Kachiguda. The line restoration works are going on in full phase at Kachiguda railway station.
