2,598 pleas received during Grievance Day yet to be cleared
Kothagudem: The government is providing all necessary and good facilities to the physically-challenged people, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini, while taking part in the Grievance Day programme held at his office on Monday.
On the day, he received petitions from district people and interacted with them.
After accepting the petitions from a few physically-challenged people from Yellandu, he said the government was providing all necessary facilities to physically-challenged for their economical growth.
The District Collector also reviewed the petitions with officials of various departments and directed the officials to clear the petitions at the earliest. He informed that of the 7,918 petitions received, only 4,665 were cleared and remaining 2,598 petitioners were pending with various departments.
Informing that most of the pleas were received with regard to land issues, the Collector directed the officials concerned to clear the pleas at the earliest. "And if they were unable to clear them, inform the same and the reasons for not clearing them to the petitioners immediately," directed the Collector.
Trainee Collector I Tripati, Administrative Officer Nageswara Rao and other district officers attended the programme.
