5 DJS activists held in Hyderabad

Four days after the arrest of three DJS activists who tried to hold press meet on Ayodhya verdict, the Moghalpura police on Wednesday arrested five DJS activists who also scheduled to hold a press conference at their office to allegedly promote enmity between groups.

The Station House Officer of Moghalpura, P Ravi Kumar said that they were detained when tried to hold the press meet under relevant sections of IPC. The arrested were likely to create fear and tension with their speeches on which they were arrested, a police official said.

The arrested were identified as Abdul Majid, Salahuddin Affan, Mohd Bin Omer, Hameed and Waseem. The arrests have been made by Commissioner's Task Force, along with the Moghalpura and Kanchanbagh police.
