96.5% attended on 2nd day of Telangana Inter exams

Hyderabad: The second day of Intermediate Public Examinations -2020 (IPE-20202) went off peacefully without any untoward incidents.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) in a statement released here on Thursday said that 4,03,459 students appeared for the examination against a total number of 4,18,944 registered candidates.

About 15,483 students were absent for the second year second language paper held on Thursday. Authorities have booked cases against 22 students, who resorted to malpractices during the examinations, it said.

However, one incident of an attempt to snatch the answer script was reported from Mahabubnagar. The culprit was caught and handed over to the police and an FIR was registered, the statement said.
