Advisory from police to teenagers
SHE Teams advise girls to be cautious while sharing personal data with strangers on smart phone or Facebook
The SHE team officials are warning the teenage youth and girls to be cautious while using the smart phones and sharing personal data on Facebook.
The social media mania and false image building among the city youth has led to the girls falling prey to the miscreants and facing harassment.
The modern age and type of education from school level to the college make the youth develop friendship with strangers through social media like 'Facebook- likes and dislikes' and WhatsApp and other tools.
Right from the birthday parties, visit to the parks, movies, bike rides and spending time at lonely places have been providing opportunity to miscreants to play havoc with the girls.
Majority of the girls and boys who are coming to the city for their higher studies, coaching for competitive examinations and for jobs are mostly staying in hostels and agree to dating with the boys.
During the process, they share their personal data, photos and videos with their boyfriends on smart phones, Facebook and WhatsApp. Later when the break-up happens, trouble begins for the girls.
