Banned gutka worth Rs 10 lakh seized in Sangareddy

The Bollaram police on Monday seized banned gutka packets from a kirana store owner here Jyothinagar of Sangareddy municipality limits,

According to CI Prashanth, the police acted on a tip-off and raided the shop where they found numerous banned gutka packets that are stored for sale. The worth of seized gutka is estimated to be of Rs 10 lakh.

The police registered a case and arrested the kirana store owner identified as Dathu. An investigation is on.
