Cabinet nod for budget proposals
Hyderabad: Soon after the induction of new ministers, the state Cabinet on Sunday approved the budget proposals for the 2019-20 financial year to be presented in the Assembly on the first day of the session that begins on Monday.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao chaired the meeting at his official residence Pragati Bhavan and explained the objective of this year's budget.
It is learnt that the total budget outlay will not cross Rs 1.82 lakh crore. The Cabinet has also discussed the possibility of bringing the new Municipal Act in the place of ordinance.
KCR explained to his Cabinet colleagues the proposal to construct the new Secretariat in the place existing structure and new Assembly building at Erramanzil in the city.
