Call to admit children in government schools
Serilingampally: Local Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav and DEO Satyanarayan Reddy have said that teaching in government schools is equivalent to that in private institutions, and therefore, there is a need for parents to admit their children in government schools.
They were speaking here on Friday after launching Prof Jayashankar's 'Badi Bata' programme in government primary school in Surabhi Colony in Serilingampally division. They explained that the facilities are being provided in government schools in the colony, Sundarayya Nagar, Rajiv Gruhakalpa and called for admission of children there. They handed over books provided by the government to the school students.
MEO Venkatayya, ZPHS headmaster Shankar, teachers Mahender Reddy, Shiva Kumar, Suresh, Balram, Krishnayya, Ravinder, Surabhi Colony primary school headmaster Gangadhar, teachers Ashraf, Swarnalata, Maheshwari, Himabindu, Jayasri, Pravalika, Mallikamba, Raju, Nirman Organisation Project Coordinator Krishna Kumari, Welsforgo Software Company staff, ward member Srikala, TRS leaders Baddam Kondal Reddy, Chandrakala, Rajini, Kalyani, Kamala and Roja were present on the occasion.
