Father, son killed as tractor overturns in Rajapet

Rajapet (Yadadri-Bhongir): In a gruesome mishap, both father and son died when the tractor in which they are travelling overturned. The accident took place at Kurraram village of Rajapet mandal in the district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Mukkara Ravinder Reddy and his son Mukkara Jeevan Reddy.

According to the sources, farmer Ravinder Reddy and his son Jeevan Reddy had gone to their fields and after completing the ploughing works with the help of tractor they were returning to home in the evening.

On the way the tractor engine overturned in the deep pit. In this accident both father and son got grievous injuries and died on the spot.

On information, local police rushed to the spot and after completion of formalities the dead bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem.

On complaint of the deceased's family members, Rajapet police registered a case and took up investigation.
