Former Janashakti leader dies in Hyderabad

Janashakti former leader Chandranna (75) died on Thursday night while undergoing treatment in a hospital. According to his family members, he was undergoing treatment for Diabetes and respiratory problems since long time. The final rites will be held today at Ramnagar crematorium.
Chandranna represented Janashakti in the talks held by the then Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Dr YS Rajashekar Reddy's government direct peace talks with Maoists and Janashakti leaders in 2004.
Chandranna is a native of Tangutur village of Yadadri-Bhongir district. He worked as an ECIL employee and later joined Janashakti and led many agitations demanding justice for Beedi and Singareni employees.
