HC gives custody of daughter to Sindhu with terms

Hyderabad: In sensational case of dowry harassment by retired judge Nooty Ram Mohan's family, the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court on Thursday ordered to handover Rishita, the elder daughter of Sindhu Sharma and Vasista, to her mother. Sindhu had filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court.

Sindhu along with her husband Vasista Rao appeared before court on Thursday. After hearing their arguments, the court directed the police to hand over the baby to her mother.

However, the court said that Rishita could stay with her father for two days in a week and directed the petitioner to place Baby Rishitha in the custody of her father on Friday evening and imposed a bounden duty on the father to return Baby Rishitha to mother by Monday morning.

The court directed the parties to the petition to continue the aforementioned custody process till June 4 until further orders.

The bench posted the matter after vacation to June 4 for further hearing.
