Hyderabad: Civic body chief assures speedy development in Ameenpur
Ameenpur: Municipal Chairman Panduranga Reddy on Wednesday asserted that he would strive for developing the local civic body after addressing its first broad-based meeting. Reddy directed installation of central lighting from Ameenpur Hanuman temple via PNR Colony to Durga Homes phase-II. He said the required estimated expenditure for the central lighting had been presented to the meeting.
The meeting estimated Rs 48 lakh as the cost of laying drainage pipeline near Bandamkommu Cheruvu, which has become dilapidated causing inconvenience to the users. The commissioner informed the meeting that 22 groups comprising eight outsourcing employees each were constituted. He laid on the table the 'Pattana Pragathi' works taken up recently.
Earlier, Reddy took charge of the chairman's office. Among those present were Municipal Commissioner Sujata, Vice-chairman Nandaram Narsimha Goud, councilors, officials and staff.
