Hyderabad: Drain overflows, so does official apathy in Kondapur

Kondapur: The residents and commuters near KIMS road Kondapur have been complaining about the drain overflow for more than a year but have yet not received any solution.

"Multiple attempts to contact and inform the civic authorities have failed and locals and commuters have to suffer every day," says Suresh G a daily commuter.

"The situation gets worse during peak hour traffic as bikers have to go through the stagnant stream trying not to slip and fall risking their lives while the pedestrians cover their faces to avoid the foul smell," he adds further.
