Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan takes part in sanitation drive

Hyderabad: City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with MLA Kaleru Venkatesh and local Corporator Kaleru Padma took part in the special sanitation drive held in Amberpet and Nallakunta on Wednesday.

Rammohan lauded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao for showing special interest in developing the city. "GHMC has taken up various development works that include road widening, construction of flyovers, skyways, underpasses and railway bridges besides link roads to ease traffic congestion. It has handed over beautification of main roads work to agencies. The government is monitoring the works on a regular basis," he added.

He appealed to people not to litter garbage on roads and nalas to prevent mosquito menace. Zonal Commissioner B Srinivas Reddy, Deputy Commissioner Venu Gopal, AMOH and senior officials were present.
